We advised Nevel Oy in its acquisition of the business of Labio Oy. Lahti Aqua Oy and Salpakierto Oy sold their entire shareholdings in Labio to Nevel, expanding Nevel’s already significant biogas portfolio. The transaction will have no impact on Lahti Aqua’s water utility operations or Salpakierto’s municipal waste management responsibilities. We advised Netel Group, a Nasdaq Stockholm-listed contracting company, on the sale of its Finnish operations, Netel Oy, to a group of private investors. The divestment forms part of Netel Group’s strategic realignment. In January 2025, Netel Group announced its decision to exit the Finnish market in order to concentrate on its core markets in Sweden and Norway and growth markets in Germany and the UK. Netel Group is a leading provider of services in the development and maintenance of critical infrastructure within Infraservices, Power and Telecom across Northern Europe. The company has been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2021.

We advised Gasum when it acquired 100% of the shares in NSR Biogas AB and the remaining 1/3 of the shares in Liquidgas Biofuels Genesis AB. Gasum has already been the majority owner of Liquidgas Biofuels Genesis AB since 2023 and is now acquiring full ownership. Gasum is a Nordic gas sector and energy market expert. Gasum offers cleaner energy and energy market expert services for industry and for combined heat and power production as well as cleaner fuel solutions for road and maritime transport. The company helps its customers to reduce their own carbon footprint as well as that of their customers.

We advised Oomi Solar Oy on the sale of a 250-megawatt solar power project portfolio to Suomen Aurinkovoima Oy. The portfolio consists of ten separate projects, marking a significant development in the Finnish solar energy market and enabling over EUR 100 million in investments. Construction of the first projects is expected to commence as early as 2025, with sites located across various regions of Finland.
