Emma Niemistö Releases Book on Construction Contract Guarantee Liabilities

Castrén & Snellman’s senior associate Emma Niemistö has written a book for Kiinteistöalan Kustannus Oy titled Contractor’s guarantee liability – client’s guide. 

The guide gives thorough insight on interpreting guarantee terms under the Finnish General Terms for Building Contracts (YSE 1998), and provides practical advice on invoking the client’s rights when carrying out repairs or seeking damages. More information on publisher’s page (only in Finnish).
