Castrén & Snellman has been granted ISO 27001 certification for information security

Information security is of utmost importance to Castrén & Snellman and our clients, and we are consistently working on improving it even further. Our firm has now been certified to ISO/IEC 27001.

ISO/IEC 27001 is an internationally recognised standard that sets clear criteria for information security management systems and requires comprehensive commitment to information security throughout the company and its management.

‘This certification is proof that we are committed to protecting our clients’ confidential information with particular care. Information security is becoming more and more important, and we want to be at the forefront of this development as well,’ says Managing Partner Sakari Lukinmaa.

ISO/IEC 27001 covers comprehensively the various aspects of information security, including risk management, information security practices, personnel training, technical protection measures and continuous development. The certification requires an annual evaluation by an external accreditation body that confirms the organisation is complying with the requirements of the standard.
