We assisted the Association of Finnish Pharmacists (AFP) in strengthening its holding in Farmania Oy through a share transaction. As a result of the transaction, AFP’s holding in Farmania increased to 75%. At the same time, Farmania will become part of the AFP’s group, which also includes Medifon Oy, a pharmaceutical and healthcare wholesaler, Pharmadata Oy, which produces information systems and telecommunications services for pharmacies, and the communications company PharmaPress Oy.
The Association of Finnish Pharmacists is an association representing private pharmacies that develops ethically and professionally high-quality pharmacy activities as part of healthcare and provides services that support pharmacy activities to its members.
Farmania is a fast-growing company providing human resources services to pharmacies and the pharmaceutical industry. At the heart of Farmania’s operations is the delivery of pharmacist workforce to pharmacies. In 2020, Farmania had a total of 170 part-time and full-time employees. In recent years, Farmania has grown into a nationwide pharmacy service organisation.
