We advised Turun Seudun Energiantuotanto Oy (TSE), one of the largest regional energy producers in Finland, in the financing of construction and development of a new 450MW multi fuel CHP plant (Na4) (generating heat, process steam and electricity) to replace the existing Naantali CHP plant (Na1). This project was one of the largest new investments in Finland in 2014.
The assignment involved negotiating a term sheet and syndicated loan facility with a consortium of Nordic banks consisting of Pohjola Bank plc, Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ), Branch Operation in Finland, and Swedbank AB (publ). The loan facility comprised a term loan facility in the amount up to EUR 210 million.
