We are advising the banks in the sale of the shares of Automatia Pankkiautomaatit Oy to cash handling company Loomis AB. The banks have committed to new long-term service agreements and will continue to be significant customers of Automatia. As part of the transaction, it has been agreed that Nordea and OP will acquire the Siirto brand, which is currently owned by Automatia.
Automatia operates and develops the Otto ATM network in Finland and offers nationwide cash supply services to banks. Loomis AB is a listed company specialising in cash handling, with operations in more than 20 different countries. In Finland, the company has ten offices and approximately 500 employees.
The completion of the acquisition is subject to approvals by the relevant authorities, including the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
