I mentor the talented trainees at our information service part-time. Our team manages library and information services, conducting comprehensive research and investigations across all areas of business law.

I am an analytical, holistic, and creative lawyer. I am currently working on a doctoral dissertation in sustainability law, with a particular focus on corporate responsibility for Indigenous peoples` rights in the green transition.

My expertise also includes legal design. I hold a master’s degree in both law and political science, as well as a bachelor`s degree in language studies.

We delivered two information design workshops for the legal department of the Finnish Centre for Pensions, with participants from both legal and other professional backgrounds. In the sessions, we applied the principles of legal design thinking to the Finnish Centre for Pensions’ field of operation and background materials, also utilising AI as a design tool. The participants found the tailored training highly useful and commended the trainers for their in-depth familiarisation with the Centre’s opinion drafting process and operating environment. As a result of the workshops, our experts proposed a new structural and linguistic model for the legal department of the Finnish Centre for Pensions for drafting opinions and guidelines. The proposal was well received as clear and applicable to the participants’ everyday work. In addition, we presented tailored AI use cases to support experts, allowing for a more efficient AI-assisted way of working. Our experts who delivered the workshops combined their legal expertise with their leading experience in legal design. We drafted new Codes of Ethics for SATO to use internally and with business partners. The client wanted to get concise and legally up-to-date Codes that are easy to understand and look fresh. We drafted completely new Codes, designed a clear structure for them and designed and implemented their layout. We made separate Codes of Ethics for internal use and for business partners in order to meet the exact tone and style suitable for both end user groups. We also made English translations of the Codes of Ethics. The end product was practical and interactive PDF instructions that are consistent with the client’s visual style. Client insight and taking the target group’s needs into account are some of the main principles of legal design. The client’s wishes also focused on the end users of the Code of Ethics, i.e. the company’s employees and business partners. In this project, efficient project management and an open line of communication helped us understand the wishes of the client company and deliver an end product with which the client was very happy. Active dialogue with the client was an important quality factor in this agile and iterative project. In the first phase we provided the client with a prototype and then continued the design work based on the comments we received. The appearance of the final product was designed in accordance with the client’s graphical guidelines. SATO Corporation is an expert in sustainable rental housing and one of Finland’s largest rental housing providers. SATO owns around 25,000 rental homes in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, Tampere and Turku. Approximately 45,000 residents live in SATOhomes. The project involved experts in legal design, linguistics and graphic design, and members of our Legal Tech team.

We advised Swedbank AB (publ) on the refinancing of a large Finnish retail real estate portfolio owned by Trophi’s Finnish subsidiaries. Trophi is the leading Nordic real estate company focusing on grocery anchored retail properties, with 278 properties across Sweden and Finland. Finland is a market that continues to develop and is also strategically important for Trophi, accounting for approximately 30% of Trophi’s letting and property value.

We are acting as Finnish legal advisor to HANZA in connection with its acquisition of Fortaco Finland’s heavy mechanics and assembly business. The transaction is structured as a combined asset and share acquisition and includes Fortaco Finland’s heavy mechanics and assembly operations in Finland, as well as shares in two Estonian and two Polish subsidiaries. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. Founded in 2008, HANZA is a Swedish mechanical engineering and electronics contract manufacturing company listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm main list. HANZA has approximately 5,000 employees and annual sales of SEK 10 billion. We advise HANZA on this transaction in collaboration with the Swedish law firm Lindahl.

We acted as Finnish counsel to RVRC Holding AB (RevolutionRace) in its acquisition of 90.1% of the shares in ICANIWILL AB (ICIW). Mannheimer Swartling (Sweden) acted as lead counsel for RevolutionRace. ICIW, founded in Sweden in 2012, is a Swedish training apparel brand.  RevolutionRace is a fast-growing Swedish outdoor brand offering multifunctional products to people with an active lifestyle. The company operates with a digital D2C business model reaching customers in approximately 40 countries. The company is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2021.

We advised a special investment fund managed by Mandatum on the sale of the PMK Building, a mixed-use commercial property located in Tammela, Tampere. The property hosts dozens of tenants and offers, inter alia, warehouse, production and office premises.

We advised Suominen Corporation in connection with its rights issue. The offering was oversubscribed, and the company raised gross proceeds of approximately EUR 28 million. We also advised Suominen in connection with the renegotiation of the terms of the company’s three-year EUR 100 million syndicated credit facility, under which the maturity was extended and headroom was added to the financial covenants. “I would like to thank our shareholders for their support and confidence in Suominen’s future. The completion of the Offering will enable us to accelerate the implementation of our Full Potential Program while strengthening our capital structure. We acted as joint legal advisor for Nordea Bank Abp and Avain Yhtiöt in an approximately EUR 48 million financing arrangement which included facilities for refinancing of an existing real estate portfolio and also for acquisition and property development purposes. The financing arrangement strengthens Avain Yhtiöt’s objective to build and maintain a functional, safe and environmentally friendly living environment, as well as to develop the overall quality of housing and construction. Avain Yhtiöt is a Finnish group specialising in housing and housing-related services, construction contracting and new construction. Its goal is to build 1,000 new apartments per year in key growth areas in Finland.
