Sami Lommi Appointed as Capital Markets and Financial Regulation Counsel

Counsel Sami Lommi joined Castrén & Snellman’s Capital Markets & Financial Regulation and Insurance teams on 1 April 2019. In addition to financial regulatory work, Sami has extensive experience of the insurance corporate practice and insurance sector in general.

‘We are excited to welcome Sami to Castrén & Snellman. Sami brings invaluable insight and experience from the insurance sector. The financial and insurance regulatory work has expanded in recent years. It has also become more complicated with swelling regulations coming mostly from the EU. Sami will strengthen our expertise’, says Partner Janne Lauha. 

Previously, Sami has worked at Folksam Non-Life Insurance Company Ltd (nowadays Fennia Non-Life Insurance Company Ltd) as the director of legal affairs, HR, Internal Services and member of the management team.
