We advised S-Group in the negotiations for the purchase of several new logistics centres for groceries and fully automated warehouses consisting of software and hardware systems from Swisslog. The first logistics centres will be located near the Helsinki Airport and in Tampere and will support S-Group’s online grocery store business. S-Group is the Finnish market leader in convenience goods, with a market share of over 40%. Groceries make up 55% of the S-Group turnover, so the new central warehouses will certainly have an effect on the business.
