Phishing Alert
Stay vigilant against fraud and misuse of our brand
Fraudulent parties may attempt to exploit the name, brand, or employee details of Castrén & Snellman to mislead individuals. This may include unauthorised use of our logo or email addresses, fake websites that resemble our official channels, or impersonation of our employees. The following guidelines will help you identify and avoid phishing attempts.
Use only Castrén & Snellman’s official website
For accurate and up-to-date information about our firm, visit this website: https://www.castren.fi. Secure websites are typically marked with a padlock icon, located to the left of the URL in some browsers. Fraudulent sites may closely mimic our branding but are not secure.
Check the sender’s email address
Only respond to messages sent from email addresses ending in @castren.fi. Emails from other domains have not originated from our firm and are most likely a phishing attempt if they claim to be Castrén & Snellman.
Review the content of the message carefully
Phishing emails may include:
- Misuse of our logo or employee names/signatures
- Links to suspicious websites (hover over links before clicking to verify they lead to our official site)
- Attachments that may contain malware or viruses
Castrén & Snellman operates from Helsinki, Finland
All our official communications originate from Finland. If you receive communication claiming to be from Castrén & Snellman but originating from another country, please treat it with caution and report it to us.
Be cautious of any requests involving money
We will never ask for payments via phone, text message, or email. Any such request is fraudulent.
