I assist our clients in questions related to environmental law. I have worked, among other things, on wind power projects and the permitting of various projects. The best thing about my job is solving problems and having a ringside seat to the rapid development of the fascinating field of energy and environment.
I first joined Castrén & Snellman as a trainee in May 2021. Prior to that, I worked as a trainee in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment on matters related to renewable energy. Before entering the legal field, I worked as a journalist. This background helps me understand society beyond the law and allows me to make sure that my texts are accessible to readers with no legal training.
Environmental law was an obvious choice for me ever since I started law school. I have also studied environmental and energy law as an exchange student at the University of Copenhagen. My Master’s thesis was about the compatibility of the EU’s emission trading system with the proposed EU carbon border adjustment mechanism.
