Tiina Kurvi

I am a member of Castrén & Snellman’s Translation Service. I translate and proofread legal documents and communications texts from English into Finnish and vice versa. My strengths include proofreading and reviewing that call for an extra keen eye for detail.

I enjoy translating agreements and terms and conditions as well as texts in the field of corporate governance. I am also versed in texts related to capital markets, IT and dispute resolution.

I have previously worked as a translator at two different banks. In addition to working in the world of finance, I have been an in-house translator at an international translation agency and travelled to Silicon Valley to provide marketing translations to a global consumer electronics company.

I like to work with other people, and together with my fellow language professionals in the C&S translation team I get to create accurate and clear texts that suit their purpose. I value our firm’s strong commitment to promoting sustainability and supporting employees’ well-being, as well as fostering a great team spirit.

I have a master’s degree in English translation from the University of Helsinki.
