Janina Tahvanainen

I assist clients with contentious and non-contentious matters related to technology, data privacy and intellectual property rights. During my career I have gained experience in drafting and negotiating various kinds of agreements related to technology and intellectual property rights, including services, outsourcing, licensing and development agreements.

I regularly advise clients on contractual and other legal issues related to data privacy and on international transfers of personal data. I have represented clients before various courts and arbitral tribunals as well as in settlement negotiations.

My industry knowledge gained from client work covers, e.g. the pharmaceutical, TMT and energy sectors. I have had the great opportunity to observe the rising importance of different technologies and innovations over the years and the constant development of the regulatory framework in these fields of law. I am constantly motivated by the possibility of finding creative solutions to satisfy the needs of our clients in different industries.
