Heidi Lumme

I advise domestic and international financial institutions, insurance companies, issuers and significant shareholders in various assignments and regulatory matters related to financial regulation. I have gained a broad professional experience from both extensive academic studies in Finland and abroad as well as from working, for example, in the Finnish Ministry of Finance and the European Commission’s Legal Service. I completed my Master of Laws degree in the University of Helsinki, where I specialised in various financial regulatory matters with a strong emphasis in European property and contract law as well as private international law. I have also completed the Finnish Bar Exam and worked as a law teacher for cramming schools for several years.

I joined Castrén & Snellman in the spring of 2021. I’m committed to helping clients and providing sound legal advice in all matters relating to business and financial law. I strive to build trust and long-term relationships by providing sincere communication on legal matters. Through my curious and hardworking attitude as well as my experience outside and within different areas of legal profession, I’m also able to provide outside-the-box solutions to help our clients achieve their goals.
