Associate, Master of Laws
My work at Castrén & Snellman focuses on assisting our domestic and international clients in questions and projects related to data privacy and technology. I have always been fascinated with technology, as it plays a central role in finding new ways to use information and know-how. As a data protection and technology lawyer, I aim to do my part in enabling technological development and innovative business solutions. I want to help our clients turn data protection into an asset instead of an obligation and to become forerunners in our digitalising society.
I started my career at Castrén & Snellman in 2015 as a Knowledge Management Trainee. I got swept away by the firm’s open and motivational atmosphere and colleagues. After my traineeships I stayed on as an associate in the Digital & TMT team. Prior to my graduation, I also worked as a legal intern in the Ministry of Justice, where I assisted the Working Party revising Finnish data protection legislation. In addition to my legal studies at the University of Helsinki, I have studied data privacy, e-commerce and contract law in England.
