About me

I specialise in advising clients on the structuring, promotion and management of all types of investment funds, be that regulated or unregulated structures, including private equity funds, real estate funds, infrastructure/real assets funds, UCITS funds, hedge funds and ETFs. I also advise institutional and other investors with regard to fund due diligence reviews and secondary market transactions of collective investment scheme interests.

Prior to joining Castrén & Snellman, I worked for Finland’s largest financial group advising through the regulatory, corporate, contractual and organisational aspects of AIF and UCITS funds, both on the sponsor and investor side. Due to my background, I am familiar with market practices and business needs of the industry.

I am currently writing a doctoral dissertation on the regulation of investment funds at the University of Tampere. I also publish academic articles, speak in conferences and lecture in universities in my field of expertise.

I earned my law degree from the University of Turku. In addition, I hold an M.Sc. (Econ.) degree from the University of Tampere.

I am currently on family leave.
