About me
Since I joined Castrén & Snellman in 2009, I have focused my practice on restructuring and insolvency as well corporate advisory services. I am currently based in London, and in addition to being a member of the Finnish Bar, I am also a qualified solicitor in England and Wales after completing the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme assessments.
I have served as part of the administration of numerous complex corporate restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings. My experience includes both assisting in estate administration as well as representing creditors in insolvency proceedings. In addition to formal proceedings, I have experience in voluntary out-of-court restructurings. I also regularly advise both creditors and debtors with regard to impending insolvency and act as a liquidator in voluntary liquidation proceedings.
In addition to insolvency law, I have wide-ranging experience within the field of corporate law. I advise listed and private companies in matters related to, for example, corporate structuring, corporate governance and directors' liability. I also assist clients in contract law matters. In dispute resolution, I focus my practice on insolvency related recovery proceedings and corporate disputes.
I also assist clients in matters relating to compliance, risk management and corporate responsibility. I help clients to identify and control risks relating to both their business partners and their internal operations.
I frequently publish articles within my fields of expertise in international professional publications and I have acted as lecturer in international seminars.
