Before joining Castren & Snellman in 2012, I worked as a legal counsel and as a lawyer at major domestic and international law firms, including the Big Four. The experience I earned while working as a legal counsel at those large firms gives me a great advantage in better understanding the unique needs of each of our clients.
My key area of expertise is in corporate law and M&A. I focus my practice on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions where I have experience representing both vendors and buyers.
I frequently participate in international projects as a part of our multi-office team, where, in addition to providing legal solutions, I also coordinate the activities of our Russian-based team members. A challenge which I enjoy in my work is handling the deal structuring process which requires very thorough analysis of a wide range of issues, such as antitrust, real estate and intellectual property, employment, tax issues and etc., all performed on-time and cost-efficiently.
I have worked closely with clients operating in a wide range of business fields, including construction, pulp and paper, IT, FMCG and retail trade, among others. In addition, I have advised Russian, Finnish and other foreign clients in numerous regulatory matters. I strongly believe that a client-oriented and hands-on approach is the key to success.
