We are advising LänsiAuto Oy in the sale of LänsiAuto’s Volkswagen, Audi and SEAT businesses in Kotka, Kouvola and Lappeenranta to K-Caara Oy, a Kesko group company. The completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, which is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2019. The pro forma net sales of the businesses to be sold totalled some EUR 67 million in 2017.
LänsiAuto is a growing and developing automotive group that offers car sales, repair, leasing and rental services. The group’s business has grown strongly in recent years: in 2019 its net sales will exceed EUR 400 million. LänsiAuto imports Opel to Finland and the Baltics and is the Finnish franchising partner of the world’s largest car rental company.
