Knowledge Management Trainees

Knowledge Management Trainees

Start your success story as a trainee at Castrén & Snellman

Our Knowledge Management trainees support our lawyers by carrying out a wide variety of legal and financial information retrievals from domestic and international sources.

If you will have about 160 credits by the start of the traineeship, you can apply for a position as a KM trainee. In addition to information retrievals, our KM trainees draft legislative and current affairs updates for various fields of law both for our lawyers and directly for our clients.

You are well suited to work as a KM trainee if you have a genuine interest in information retrieval and some experience of it through work and studies. A service-minded attitude, good teamwork skills and an open-minded, energetic and creative approach to work are also important characteristics for a KM trainee to have.

KM trainees work part time, usually two to three days a week, and the traineeship lasts one year. During the summer, the work is full time. Trainee periods start every January and September.

  • Duration: Twelve months
  • Full-time/part-time: Part-time, full-time during the summer
  • Who: Law students who are about halfway through their studies (about 160 credits at the start of the traineeship)

Application periods and starting dates:

  • Application in August–September, traineeship starts in January
  • Application in March–April, traineeship starts in September
