Castrén & Snellman’s Trademark Team Receive Gold Rankings in the WTR1000

Castrén & Snellman has once again been ranked as one of the leading law firms in Finland in the 2021 Edition of World Trademark Review 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals. In the 2021 survey, our firm was ranked in Tier 1 (Gold) Category in enforcement & litigation and prosecution & strategy.

According to the publication, ‘Castrén & Snellman’s IP department receives effusive market praise, with numerous sources commenting on its inexorable upwards trajectory, impeccable track record and glittering client roster, as well as its “trustworthy and skilled professionals”’.

On the private practice side, WTR1000 ranked eight individuals in the gold tier and only seven individuals as leading practitioners in anti-counterfeiting. Our firm’s partner, Head of IP Sakari Salonen, was again ranked in both of these individual top categories. Sakari is described as follows: ‘He is super-industrious and will stop at nothing to complete a task. He is simply great at everything he does.’

According to another client, Head of IP Prosecution Team Nina Mikander ‘impresses with her excellent management of large-scale mandates’.
