Corporate Spirit Ltd: Castrén & Snellman One of Finland’s Most Inspiring Workplaces in 2015

Work satisfaction at Castrén & Snellman continues to be top notch, with 92% of our personnel very satisfied or satisfied with our firm as an employer. The overall satisfaction level reached 4.28/5 this year. The result even increased a bit compared to the previous score in 2013 (4.25/5). According to Corporate Spirit Ltd, the company that carried out the survey, the results far exceed the average for Finnish expert organisations.

C&S received particular praise from its employees for listening to personnel when making decisions and paying attention to wellbeing at work. ‘Employees are appreciated. The firm is willing to listen to them and to treat them well. There is a good team spirit and low hierarchy’, one of the respondents commented.

Our employees also found their work duties to be meaningful: ‘I have been given enough responsibility, and my tasks are interesting and challenging. The feedback I give is usually taken well, it is discussed and action is often taken based on it to improve things’, said one employee.

Areas for improvement that were identified included stress and co-operation between employee groups. ‘Our firm has grown rapidly over the past few years, and we are determined to focus even more on co-operation between groups and on leadership’, says Outi Ruohola, our HR Director.
