Work Life Balance

According to a study conducted by the Finnish Bar Association in 2007, attorneys in Finland work an average of 46.1 hours a week. Most find their work challenging and interesting and are quite happy, despite the sometimes long hours. Free time is highly valued, and is something respondents wanted more of.

The Best Place to Work in All Life Situations

The people who work at Castrén & Snellman are in different situations in life, and so have different wishes and goals for their life. We have all agreed to act in a way that we can all feel that our work community is the best place to work in all life situations.

Our employees appreciate the possibility for flexible working hours, and if necessary, our employees can also work from home. If work requires being at the office, for example when a child gets sick, our employees can hire a babysitter and Castrén & Snellman will pick up the bill. Some of our employees take time off to study or work a shorter week to make looking after their toddlers easier.

Balance Benefits Our Clients

Finding a suitable balance between work and private life is an important part of work satisfaction. We try to find new solutions that help our employees find a balance in their life, but that also allow us to be available to our clients when they need us. We believe that our clients get the best possible service from us when our employees' work and private lives are balanced.
