Senior Associate, Member of the Finnish Bar
Banking and finance related transactions became my main interests during my traineeships at Castrén & Snellman before officially joining the firm as an associate in 2009. I have gained key experience by guiding our clients through various real estate, leverage finance and corporate lending arrangements for both domestic and international companies, including wind power projects. Also, I frequently advise clients in diverse questions relating to banking and finance law. I also practice general corporate law and in the shower of regulation which pervades corporate law, I have deepened my expertise in regulatory issues.
Our clients benefit from my practical and business-minded approach. My goal is to bring value to the client by providing the most productive solutions and by working smoothly and efficiently. I am always adaptable in relation to the needs of a client and of the deal. I am not afraid to break my habits and try something new, whenever needed. I believe that when the law defines the framework for a case, your personal drive and the ability to take a hands-on approach set the course to successfully cross the finish line even in tight schedules.
Having lived abroad helped me to understand the way a person's cultural background influences how they think and what they want. To discover the context of a case and to be able to manage each case as a whole, it is important to understand the people driving these vehicles. I believe that my flexibility and tendency to get along with people in general help me to achieve this goal.
I am on secondment at a client company until January 2018.
