Associate, Master of Laws
My work in Castrén and Snellman includes assisting our clients in diverse assignments and questions related to technology and data privacy issues. Most of my tasks involve contractual assignments concerning digitalisation, technology procurement and business development projects.
I am fascinated by the bipartite nature of contract law; the strong basic structures and the endless variations. Similar basic elements are often repeated in different projects, but at the same time the client's needs are always unique. I truly find my spark when I can help our client find the best possible legal solution to their situation. Data privacy legislation sets stronger boundaries for judicial creativity, but I find this additional challenge an interesting addition to my projects.
When I work on complex legal questions I retain my focus through keeping in mind the bigger picture. I want to understand what I am doing, why and how my work connects to the entire project. When I can point out from the assignment the elements that are most essential to our client and the elements that include the most difficult legal issues, I am able to make the most of my own know-how and thus offer our client my efficient and value adding work contribution.
Besides the intellectual challenges, my work includes a lot of social activity. I have a curious personality and enjoy discussing various topics with different kinds of people. I'm inspired by meeting experts from various industry fields and by learning new things about their professions, working methods and interests. One of the best parts of my versatile job is my fantastic colleagues. In our work community, it's easy to perform at one's best.
