Matias Wallgren heads Castrén & Snellman’s Real Estate and Environment expertise area. He specialises in real estate and environmental law, construction law as well as mergers and acquisitions. Matias is a recognised expert, having worked extensively in these fields since 1996. He has handled assignments for both Finnish and international companies, for example, property development and real estate transactions as well as liability and regulatory matters. He has also been a member of the Helsinki City Environment Committee, participated in the drafting of environmental legislation, and written case commentaries related to real estate and environmental legislation for several publications in the field.
