The chapter by Huimala and Paloheimo discusses Finnish legislation on medicines, such as the national rules relating to the distribution, marketing and sales of pharmaceutical products. It also examines the Finnish Competition Act and its implications for the pharmaceutical sector in Finland, as well as the practice of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority in the field.
