Anders Forss Elected to the Board of the Finnish Legal Society

Castrén & Snellman partner Anders Forss was elected to the board of the Finnish Legal Society last Thursday, 10 December.

Founded in 1862, the Finnish Legal Society — best known by its Swedish name Juridiska Föreningen i Finland — is the oldest association of lawyers in Finland. The society has approximately 600 members.

The Finnish Legal Society is a bilingual association (Finnish and Swedish). It aims, among other things, to promote knowledge of jurisprudence by arranging discussion meetings on relevant legal topics, publishing the legal journal JFT  and providing grants for events and publications. The association also actively participates in the promotion of legal cooperation between the Nordic countries.
